A man is fighting for life after he was stabbed in the throat and body during an alleged fight between a group in south Brisbane.

Police say an altercation broke out between the group of four at a unit in Moorooka about 8.30pm on Friday.
During the fight a 33-year-old Moorooka man was allegedly stabbed in the throat and abdomen with a knife.
The 33-year-old Moorooka man was given first aid by officers at the scene before being transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
He was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
