INJURY: A rugby union player from the Emus club was transported to Orange Hospital after being injured in a tackle on Saturday.

A rugby player from the Emus club has been flown to Sydney for surgery after suffering a severe spinal injury in Saturday's Blowes Clothing Cup second grade fixture.
