Silly Solly's aims to open up to 100 stores in Australia in the next few years. The chain currently has locations in Bathurst and Goulburn, but it hoping to add Dubbo to the list.
"Silly Solly's has excelled in a bricks and mortar retail environment of extreme uncertainty. The Silly Solly's management team in Australia is led by co-managing directors Brad Walton and Steve Watchman, alongside head of operations for Australia Tim Gambrill.
Mr Stanton said the store's culture was to focus on customers, who were often surviving week-to-week.
"The nothing over $5 pricing model is attractive to customers already struggling with the increased cost of living. Our value is so high and prices so low our customers visit more often," he said.
"We are one retailer obsessed with our customers. People are sick of the gloom and doom; they just want to save money and live better and Silly Solly's plays a role in that simple and enjoyable shopping experience."
Silly Solly's includes a range of items from personal care to toys to consumables and in select stores there's even a frozen food section.
"It was a massive challenge, but Silly Solly's responded to consumer demand for new ranges of products during COVID with a huge everyday focus on essentials items, at affordable prices," Mr Stanton said.
"Our essential product list is appealing and recognise the outstanding value on offer. It is our aim to continue to exceed our customers' expectations every time they shop with us."
Mr Stanton said Silly Solly's was accelerating it's growth plans and the opening of stores across Australia, inspired by everyday Australians battling uncertainty.
