A 40-year-old man has fronted court charged with rural crime offences after investigators seized $56,000 cash.
Just before 6pm on November 19, as part of Operation Ambush officers attached to the Rural Crime Prevention team were patrolling when they stopped a white Toyota Landcruiser on Carina Road, about 50km north of Warren.
Officers spoke with the man before searching his vehicle, seizing $52,400 cash.
The man was released as inquiries continued.
Following further investigations, officers stopped the same man on Carinda Road about 5pm on Wednesday.
Officers searched the vehicle and seized a further $3700 cash.
The 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Warren Police Station where he was charged with:
