About 8.20pm emergency services were called to the intersection of the Mitchell Highway and and Arthur Butler Drive in Dubbo, following reports a B-Double truck and a Toyota Camry had collided.
The driver of the Toyota - a 35-year-old man and the 51-year-old truck driver were taken to Dubbo Hospital for mandatory testing.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Three passengers in the Toyota - aged 37 and two aged 60 were taken to Dubbo Hospital with serious injuries.
The 37-year-old man was later released with minor injuries. The 60-year-old woman was later airlifted to Westmead Hospital Sydney in a serious condition.
Officers from Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are conducting inquiries. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are under way.
