Starting fourth on the grid for race two of the weekend, Everingham made a strong start and moved to the outside to overtake teammate Jayden Ojeda before the two collided heading into the first corner.
The collision pushed Ojeda into the wall ending his afternoon early while Everingham was left with damage to the front left of his car which ended his race on the opening lap.

Everingham had better fortune in race one of the weekend working his way up from sixth on the grid to finish fifth securing a strong points finish.
Everingham finished the Super2 Series sixth on points with 807 after much of the season had to be abandoned due to the COVID-19 outbreak across much of the eastern seaboard.
Apart from Super2 Series champion Broc Feeney who won six races, Everingham is the only other driver in the field who won multiple races in 2021.
Everingham won one of the races at Mount Panorama earlier in the year before winning only a few weeks ago in Sydney.
