All adults on the electoral role in the Dubbo Local Government area are required to vote in the local government elections.
In Dubbo, there are six polling locations. There are another two in Wellington and five in the surrounding towns and villages.
The polling places are open from 8am until 6pm.

- Buninyong Public School - Myall Street
- Dubbo College Delroy Campus - East Street
- Dubbo College South Campus - Fitzroy Street
- Dubbo North Public School - Fitzroy Street
- Orana Heights Public School - Oak Street
- St Laurence's Catholic Primary School - Fitzroy and Tamworth Street
- Wesley Centre Dubbo - Church Street
Wellington and surrounds
- Ballimore Public School - Bomen Street
- Geurie Public School - Narragal Street
- Mumbil Public School - Apsley Crescent
- Stuart Town Public School - Burrendong Way
- Wellington High School - Arthur Street
- Wellington Public School - Maxwell Street
- Wongarbon Public School - Railway Street
When you go to vote you will need to provide your name, date of birth and address. You will also be asked if you've voted in the election before.
Once you've completed the ballot paper, and referendum question, you must fold them and put them in the correct ballot boxes on the way out.
As part of the COVID safety plan, voters will be required to check in on arrival. Masks will also be required.
Single use pens will be available to use, however people are encouraged to bring their own pens.
Hand sanitiser will also be available.
