Dubbo will host the under 18s carnival across Saturday and Sunday with teams from Orange and Bathurst to visit along with a Chairman's XI, which is made up of the best players from outside those three towns.
Atlee will be one of the key batsman in the star-studded home side and believes he is in a pretty good spot after playing recently in Sydney in the Poidevin-Gray Shield while many other matches have been washed out around the state.
"I'm feeling very confident going into this weekend's games. Considering all of the rain affected games, I personally have played more cricket than most of the boys," he said.
"Playing PGs (Poidevin-Gray Shield) in Sydney has boosted my confidence playing at that level.
"First grade in Dubbo is a notch higher this year, which after a couple of handy innings has put a bit more confidence under my belt for this weekend."
Atlee is currently in his second full season as part of RSL-Colts' first grade line-up while also plying his trade in Sydney with Hawkesbury.
Dubbo arguably has the best side of any at the colts carnival on paper and Atlee knows people will be in different roles than they may be used to in club cricket or other representative sides.

"With our team being as strong as it is it'll show the different roles and jobs people can do when the team is performing well," he said
"As expected I believe Tom Coady will have an outstanding weekend along side Koda Sissian and Campbell Watts.
"Everyone in our team can play amazing cricket and I think our side is in for a great carnival."
Sissian will return to Dubbo for the carnival after moving to Sydney to finish the remainder of his schooling and will join his Eastern Suburbs teammate Coady as the home side's two premier batting talents.
On the bowling front, Dubbo could be even more stacked with Lawson Shepherd, Rudy Peet, Will Skinner and Watts all set to fight over the new ball while the trio of Lachlan Rummans, Paddy Nelson and Atlee will provide spin options.
Atlee is confident playing at home will be a big advantage for the Dubbo side should things get tough across the two matches this weekend.
Dubbo meets Orange in the opening round on Saturday at No.2 Oval while Bathurst and the Chairman's XI will play nextdoor at No.3 Oval.
The winners of both games will meet each other on Sunday in the final with the two losing sides also to meet.
Play in both matches on Saturday will begin at 10am.
