Nominations have flooded in for next Tuesday's seven race meeting at Dubbo Turf Club with a heavy track expected after heavy rainfall around the region in recent weeks.

A total of 164 nominations have come in for the races but entries for the Class 1 and Maiden Plate have been extended until Thursday morning.
The nominations for the Benchmark 66 Handicap (1000 metres) look strong with several local trainers entering horses from their stable.

Dubbo based trainers Connie Greig, Dar Lunn and Clint Lundholm have all nominated several horses for the kilometre-long race.
Lunn's Castlebar Road has been nominated in the Class 2 Handicap and will come into the race after a 25 week spell.
Castlebar Road won its previous to races before the spell however with both wins coming at Dubbo Turf Club.
Final fields for all seven of the races will be released later this week.
