The Conservatorium is hosting Madame Flute with Jane Rutter and Giuseppe Zangari. It features classical favourites, Italian dances, French tangos and cabaret hits. The concert also includes well-known music by Piaf, Aznavour, Debussy, Vivaldi and Morricone.
The unique concert is created by Ms Rutter who will play six different flutes, including an 1887 Louis Lot - considered the Stradivarius of the flute.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
She will be joined by Mr Zangari, a classical guitarist, who she describes as a "fantastic performer" who is perfect for the music in the program.
"This concert is very close to my heart; with each piece of music, you just can't help but exclaim 'Oh I love that, it's my favourite piece!' The whole concert is a series of gems," Ms Rutter said.
Ms Rutter will also give a public masterclass on December 2 at 5pm for music students, teachers and music lovers. Register via the Conservatorium website.
