The legendary Australia band fronted by Peter Garrett will perform at Heifer Station Wines on February 26.
On Monday it was also announced ARIA-award winning pop rock outfit Lime Cordiale will also be performing.
The Orange Show will be one of the first stops on Midnight Oil's Resist tour, that will include Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney.
The tour will see them performing classic Midnight Oil songs from across their repertoire while also showcasing new works from their latest album Resist.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The new album is being described as a "a fitting, forward looking, statement for a band whose clarion call has always been 'it's better to die on your feet than live on your knees.'"
"As the title makes abundantly clear, Resist engages with the issues of today, like the lead single "Rising Seas" which tackles the climate crisis in typically uncompromising fashion.
"We hope everyone who hears this album and gets to one of the shows will come away charged up about the planet's future, saying 'why stop now?'," frontman Peter Garrett said.
The band says in line with its calls for governments to urgently take serious actions that reduce carbon pollution, the tour will embrace best practices for emission reductions and offsetting. A portion of proceeds will also be set aside to support organisations seeking to elevate the existential threat posed by the climate crisis.
Lime Cordiale brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach have curated a selection of Australian talent to join them at the Heifer Station Wines gig on April 24, including Thelma Plum, Client Liaison and The VANNS.
The Orange show is part of a national tour of The Squeeze Festival, which also includes two other A Day on the Green Shows at the Barossa Valley and Geelong.
Next year's concert will be the second A Day on the Green to be hosted by Heifer Station Wines.
More than ten thousand poured through the gates at Heifer Station for Orange's inaugural A Day on the Green concert in 2020, headlined by Cold Chisel.
Tickets for February's concert go on sale at 12 noon on Wednesday December 1.
