Lew who is based in Dubbo will take across one of the best from his stable in All Spruced Up to run in the final across 1730 metres with $14,994 on offer as prize money.
Lew is expecting his mare to be in a good position to have a shot at a win on Wednesday evening.
"I hope she goes alright," he said.
"She hasn't done much during the week.
"But that's because she had a pretty solid run last week.
"The trip down and the trip back don't help them."
All Spruced Up won her last run which was a heat to get into the Soldiers Saddle Final at Bathurst on November 17.

Lew admitted the heat run gave him a lot of confidence heading into the final.
"I was very pleased with her," he said.
"She pulled up good.
"It didn't knock her around too much.
"She's not that fast much she is a bit tough."
Lew feels all the horses in the run need to be tough but especially All Spruced Up after drawing a less than ideal barrier.
"You have to [be tough]," he said.
"Even where she has been drawn out there she'll have to do some work at some stage."
Local Bathurst trainer/driver Amanda Turnbull has been one of the best at her craft in the region for some time now and Blaze Coops from her stable will head into the race as a short favourite.
However, Lew believes the whole field will be tough to beat due to the depth throughout the grade but the Dubbo trainer will keep a close eye on Turnbull.
"Gee the whole lot of them," he said.
"Amanda's [Turnbull] is going to be hard.
"Once you get to that grade and there is only four heats and you know the first two get into the final so they can all run."
John O'Shea will drive for Lew on Wednesday night after driving All Spruced Up during her heat win in which she finished first by 12 metres.
Lew is confident O'Shea can find some luck in the run and hopefully bring home the win.
"I think you need a lot of luck in the run," he said.
"I think I've got the right bloke to find the luck."
"It's a pretty open race,"
Wednesday night's meeting in Bathurst will be the last one before the big Inter Dominion heats, which is one of the biggest nights in harness racing for the city.
The ten-race meeting is set to get underway at 6:13pm with the Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Consolation (1730 metres).
The Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Final is the fifth race of the evening set to start at 8:13pm.
