Sean Clarkson, 35, drove his blue Ford Falcon station wagon to the back loading dock of the Good Guys in Dubbo, about 3.20pm on September 7 this year.
According to police, Clarkson walked toward the store member handing out click and collect orders and told them he had a parcel to pick up.
When the store member went into the warehouse to collect the order Clarkson walked behind the desk and scooped up three Apple iPhones, valued at $2200, and placed them in his pockets and down his pants.

When the store member returned a short time later he told Clarkson he couldn't locate an order for him. Clarkson then left with the phones, making no effort to pay.
In September, the store conducted a stocktake sale and discovered the phones were missing. The store reviewed their CCTV footage of movements made over the month when management saw Clarkson take the phones.
Police were notified and began an investigation. As part of their investigation police identified the Ford Falcon station wagon belonging to Clarkson.
Clarkson was questioned by police and told the officers he stole the phones for "shits and giggles", but said he returned them an hour and a half later after the Good Guys had contacted him.
He went on to tell police he went to the store to pick up an order his partner had made. However, according to police when his partner came to the door she told them she didn't make an order at the Good Guys.
Police went back to the store but CCTV footage revealed Clarkson didn't return to the store. Team members also said he didn't return and did not have his details to contact him.
In Dubbo Local Court, Clarkson pleaded guilty to larceny.
Magistrate Gary Wilson fined Clarkson $1000 and ordered him to pay $1500 in compensation to the Good Guys.
"What an expensive little shits and giggles," Magistrate Wilson said.
