Now under the leadership of Chris Morton and designed as a genuine second XI for the Dubbo Western Zone Premier League side, the Brewery Shield team won by seven wickets at No. 1 Oval on Sunday.
After rain ruined any chance of play anywhere on Saturday, Morton won the toss on Sunday and opted to send Nyngan in to bat on the slightly soft deck.
Shubham Sharma proved to be the most destructive of the Dubbo bowlers, finishing with 4/8, before Ted Murray and Hugh Sienkiewicz put on a 120-run opening stand to all-but secure the commanding victory.
Nyngan was never able to get going with the bat and after a steady start the first wicket fell in ninth over with the score on 16.

Liam Wherritt (4) fell to spinner Lockie Rummans soon after but captain Toby Miles and Jak Jeffrey set about rebuilding the innings.
The Dubbo attack kept things tight but the Nyngan pair took the total to 81 before Jeffrey also fell to Rummans (2/29).
Spin proved to be doing the trick and when Tom Barber removed the dangerous Miles soon after for 44, the end came quickly for Nyngan.
Sharma and Barber combined to tear through the Nyngan middle and lower order.
Sharma finished with 4/8 from four overs while Barber took 3/19 as the final six Nyngan lost 5/9 at one point late on to be ultimately all out for 128.
If there was any worries about the chase they were soon put to bed as Murray got Dubbo firing.
He played the aggressor while Sienkiwicz worked well at the other end in the opening partnership which set-up the victory.
It seemed Dubbo was on track to reach the target without a loss when Souths youngster Murray passed his half century, but he fell for 64 just moments after Sienkiewicz (38) to spark something of a scramble in the Dubbo sheds.
Theme Rawat (0) also came and went but Jason Ryan (6 not out) and Barber (4 not out) got the job done in the 18th over.
Dubbo will travel to Cobar in round two, with that match to be played on November 21.
