Budding constables, East Parkes Primary School students Ned Jones and Charlie Rix, celebrated Book Week 2021 at the Parkes Police Station recently.
The theme for book week was 'Old worlds, new worlds, other worlds' with Ned and Charlie both in 3D as SWAT Police.
After finishing school, both SWAT Police attended Parkes Police Station to give the big boys a hand.
After signing in for duty, they teamed up with Senior Constable Alex Woolstencroft and Senior Constable Dane Budd, they were issued with body-worn cameras, police radio and torch.
Both went about their police duties, inspecting the cells, checking the police vehicle and taking a few phone calls.
When not at School or SWAT Policing, both boys are the leading farm hands on their family properties in the Bogan Gate - Trundle districts.
At the end of their shift, Sergeant Ged Ryan thanked them for their assistance.
Way to go boys!
