The exams were postponed across NSW by about a month due to COVID-19, and while some are not bothered by the delay, others have found it to be stressful.
For Jen Corderoy, the HSC extension was tiresome.
"With the extension and the HSC being pushed back so far, I'm burnt out," she said.
"I think we've been given circumstances where we can still prepare well and I'm pretty happy with my effort."
On the contrary, Tom Brown said a lot of pressure was alleviated knowing he has early offers into university.
"Bit hard and a bit unmotivating given COVID-19, but I think given the circumstances I did pretty good," Mr Brown said.
"I have maths next week and I have history this Friday but other than that I'm feeling pretty good. I've got early entry into a few universities so that has given me a lot more confidence for what I'm doing."
For students India Shaw and Christopher Goud it was a challenge gracefully accepted.
"I was actually really confident in what I was writing, I was going with the flow, it was good, everything was integrated but then I looked at the time and I realised I had two short answers left, but I only had time to do one," Miss Shaw said.
Mr Goud said despite being nervous before the exam, he wasn't stressed, except for five minutes during the exam.
"I ended up being five minutes late into the second section because I wanted to finish off the last short answer questions, but, I was really happy with how my short answers went. I missed one in my trial exams but got all of them done this time," he said.
"I had gotten about three quarters down in my essay when the time hit about 27 past and It didn't register to me that we were going until 33 past so I started really stressing at that point.
"I crammed off that one and did a conclusion paragraph so I could finish at 11.30 and realised I had three minutes to spare."
Mr Goud said he's not too worried though, as he thought he did pretty well.
