The COP 26 Global Climate Protest was led by Dubbo Environment Group and draws attention to CODE RED for emergency which is in reference to what panelists are calling the state of our climate.
The group met outside the Dubbo Visitor Information Centre on Saturday bearing signs and banners to get their point across.
Dubbo Environment Group president Margaret McDonald said furthermore, the group is hoping to get a point across to federal member Mark Coulton and the federal government to "do more".
Ms McDonald said four of the members also took to the streets to gather petition signatures for Mr Coulton to show they were not alone in their fight for "climate rights".
Mr Coulton said the federal government had spent millions towards sustainable energy and emission reduction across the region, stating claims of inaction were "untrue".
