The club is preparing for its annual Michael Martin Charity Teams Day next weekend, following on from a successful first Tri-Stars junior event last month.
There were three athletes in the under 6s category at the Tri-Stars, and the Hippos are proud to be able to cater for competitors of any age and ability.

"Our youngest is four or five (years old) and our oldest is about 70 so it's huge," club secretary Ben Orford said.
"In most sports you're limited to a 10 or 20-year age bracket. There's a wide range of abilities and there's an event for everyone. You could do it for 10 minutes or 10 hours, in an Ironman's case.
"There's beginner events through to local races and (Central West) Inter-Club and then we've got events we go away to like Husky (Huskisson Triathlon Festival) and if you go beyond that there's Kona (Ironman World Championship) and things like that.
"It's a massive pathway depending on how far you want to take it."
Money raised from Sunday's charity day will go to the Pink Angels. The event is free for club members and $5 for non-members. People can race by themselves of in a team of two or three.
There will be three different length courses on Sunday.
