After the AFL Central West season was abandoned due to COVID-19, the Demons did not get a chance to finish off the final round of the season or feature in the finals.
Club president Tom Skinner said the Demons are still eager to celebrate the 2021 season even if it means waiting a few more months.
"I suppose after the lockdown and everything we are very keen to celebrate the season that was," he said.
"Hopefully we can look forward to moving ahead into next year."
Skinner feels the presentation night was tricky to try and plan as the summer is one of the busiest times of the year.
"We were a bit worried coming into Christmas with lots of people having parties," he said.

"So we pushed it back into next year so we don't interrupt anything there. Hopefully everyone can enjoy the celebrations."
As the presentation night will be held just two months out from the start of the new season, Skinner is confident the celebration could be a good chance to get all the players together.
"We'll hit the ground running into 2022," he said.
"We're looking for a big season again. We were a bit disappointed with the end of the season that we didn't get to play finals.
"Everyone plays for different reasons but it would've been nice to finish the season off properly."
While AFL Central West and the Demons celebrated their 40th anniversary this year, Skinner admitted 2022 will still be a historic year.
"The Demons were a club in the inaugural year but didn't play until the first year," he said.
"So this will be our 40th year of actually playing.
"There is plans to have a celebration dinner and stuff. That should be better now with the lockdowns relaxing with everyone getting vaccinated."
The club recently held their annual general meeting with Skinner being re-elected as club president and he will have some experience to lean on next season.
"Very happy with the way our AGM went," he said.
"Obviously a lot of experience has come back onto our board with Joe Knagge at vice-president and Nick Lowther at secretary. They've both been president before and having them on board is going to massive for us."
