Police are appealing for information after reports of a child approach Orange on Tuesday.

Police says just after 12pm on Tuesday 26 October, a 13-year-old girl was walking along Summer Street, Orange, when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man spoke to the girl several times, asking her to go to the park with him. She declined and walked in another direction.

Police were notified and officers attached to Central West Police District have commenced an investigation.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as having a dark complexion, aged between 40-50, wearing track pants, a blue t-shirt and a blue baseball cap.
