About 10.15pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to the intersection of Morrison and Marshall Streets, Cobar, following reports a motorcycle and Toyota Prado had collided.
The 32-year-old motorcycle rider suffered critical injuries and was taken to Cobar Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

The Toyota driver, a 40-year-old woman, was taken to Cobar Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Central North Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, anyone with dashcam footage from the area is urged to come forward.
