All BreastScreen NSW screening services were temporarily suspended in August as the Delta strain of COVID-19 spread across the state and staff were deployed to local health districts.
Selected clinics are now being reopened and women who had appointments cancelled contacted "as a priority".
BreastScreen NSW Greater Western manager Meg O'Brien said they should wait to be contacted before calling the service.
"Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure women can rebook their life-saving breast screen as soon as possible," she said.
BreastScreen NSW has advised of the mandate for NSW Health staff to be fully-vaccinated by November 30.
It is asking clients to wear surgical masks to appointments and come alone to "ensure adequate physical distancing".
