Under investigation are three cases while two of the 13 were not infectious in the community.
There are also currently 11 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the region with three in the intensive care unit.
Walgett is remaining an area of concern after reporting five or more new COVID-19 cases for the third day in a row.
Also in the 24 hours to 8 pm Sunday, 33 patients were discharged from the Care in the Community program, leaving 259 active COVID-19 cases across the district.
Residents across the Western NSW Local Health District are encouraged to remain vigilant as we enter a period of lower restrictions as case numbers are anticipated to continue.
Those with symptoms similar to hay fever are also being urged to get tested.
Western NSW Local Health District chief executive Scott McLachlan said, with spring among us, people may be mistaking COVID-19 for hay fever as symptoms can be similar.
