The campaign will be released to coincide with the new Dubbo Region Visitor Guide 2021/22.
Before it's shared with a wider audience the guide will be delivered to homes in the local government area.
Council hopes the guide will help encourage the community to reconnect with friends and family by inviting them home to the Dubbo Region this Christmas.

"By releasing the visitor guide locally first we want to encourage residents to be 'hometown heroes' and support our region's businesses and attractions on the road to recovery by planning to explore their own amazing backyard once restrictions have eased," mayor Stephen Lawrence said.
"The visitor guide continues a legacy of collaboration between council and local businesses committed to supporting destination marketing and growing the visitor economy of the Dubbo Region."
The visitor's guide contains information about Dubbo, Wellington and the smaller villages for any holidaymakers coming to Dubbo.
"Our Visitor Information Centre team is already hard at work behind the scenes preparing deliveries of the new Visitor Guide to be sent to their network of more than 150 Visitor Information Centres, both interstate and intrastate so that the Dubbo Region is ready for business and ready to welcome visitors as soon as we get the green light," Cr Lawrence said.
The NSW government has announced that travel between regional areas will be allowed from October 11, when NSW reaches a 70 per cent vaccination rate.
It will only be permitted for those who have been fully vaccinated.
Metropolitan visitors from Sydney will then be able to travel to regional holiday destinations when the population reaches 80 per cent vaccination rate.
It's expected that the target will be reached later in October.
Council's marketing team is continuing to work with local operators on proactive planning of a staged recovery strategy and marketing calendar being developed in line with the targets for restrictions easing as they are being announced by the NSW government.
The Dubbo Region Visitor Guide 2021/22 will be delivered across the region in early October.
