The Penrith Panthers connection to the region has continued with Cooper Ferrari and Fletcher Haycock both being select in the clubs SG Ball (under 19s) squad following in the footsteps of NRL stars Brent Naden, Isaah Yeo, Charlie Staines and Matt Burton who all joined the club earlier in their careers.

Their CYMS teammate Zac Williams was named in part of the South Sydney Rabbitohs squad for the same competition while Nyngan's Braith Boyd was picked in the Penrith under 17s squad for next season.
The competition is held in Sydney early in the year before the Group 11 season begins in early April.
