Tuesday's top temperature was 1.4 degrees lower than the 11.3 degrees recorded on September 16, 2005.
It holds the 29-year record for the lowest maximum temperature at Dubbo during the month of September.

Dubbo residents woke to minus 0.3 degrees on Wednesday morning but have been told by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) to expect warmer temperatures.
The average maximum and minimum temperatures at Dubbo during September are 21.4 and 6.1 degrees, respectively.
From Thursday to next Tuesday the top temperature in the city is forecast to range between 21 and 25 degrees. Morning temperatures will range from 2 to 8 degrees.
On Wednesday morning the city had received 19 millimetres (mm) of rain this month, less than half of average rainfall of 41.7mm.
In the 48 hours to 9am Monday, a total of 1.8mm was recorded at Dubbo City Regional Airport.
The BoM reported on Wednesday of a 40 per cent chance of up to 0.2mm of rain falling on Tuesday.
