Monday's seven race meeting at Towac Park came to a conclusion with the On-Trac AG Benchmark 66 Handicap on the Heavy 8 track.
Dubbo's own Classy Rebel came into the race in red-hot form with two wins and a second place from it's last four start.
The Dar Lunn trained-gelding ($3) got out out to a strong start leading from the jump ahead of Mornay ($4.80) heading into the final bend.
But as the field rounded on the final straight, Classy Rebel seemingly pulled away from the field with ease before Mornay swiftly followed to catch up as the two were neck and neck across the final 500 metres.

Jockey Madeline Owen showed great resolve to pull away from Mornay ridden by Mathew Cahill who had already won at the track earlier on in the day.
Classy Rebel hit the line first by just over half a length ahead of Mornay trained by Cowra's Andrew Molloy.
Panuara ($13) trained by Alison Smith finished back in third ahead of Denace from Brett Thompson's stable.
Earlier on in the day, Eve 'N' Ruby shocked many to take out the Angullong Maiden Handicap for trainer Marc Connors.
Heading into the race, all eyes were on Jac's Legacy ($1.80) trained by Bjorn Baker and ridden by Alysha Collett but it was not to be.
Eve 'N' Ruby managed to lead the pack heading onto the final straight and kept narrowly ahead of the chasers to grab a victor in a photo finish.
Krissy Krystana ($9) was the unlikely runner to finish second ahead of the Wanda Ings trained Memphis Beau ($21).
The attention of many trainers in the region will now turn to Saturday and Sunday's meetings.
Wellington will host six races on Saturday including a maiden plate.
On Sunday, Bathurst will have an eight race meeting which is already expected to have some exciting regional horses.
