The decision was made at a meeting on Wednesday night following NSW Rugby League's announcement earlier this week cancelling all remaining competitions around the state due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Like neighbouring Group 11, the Castlereagh League had opted against abandoning its season last month when the lockdown in regional NSW was first put in place.
There had been some hope the finals could be resumed at a later date but Castlereagh League secretary Bryson Luff said there was little opposition to the cancellation on Wednesday night.
"Most people thought it was inevitable," Luff said.
"Everyone was realistic about it. While we're all disappointed we can't play on but, I think, it was only a matter of time (before it was cancelled)."

The season was initially halted ahead of the final round of the season and all matches there were declared draws.
That resulted in Cobar finishing as minor premiers in first grade and those titles will be the only ones awarded this year.
Baradine was awarded the minor premiership in the league tag.
"We got 17 of the 18 rounds in," Luff said.
"There was some good sides. Cobar and Dunedoo were probably the two standouts but any of the top five sides could have knocked off each other on their day."
That even nature of the season also played a part in the decision not to award premierships.
The Castlereagh League annual general meeting is November 28 and the hope is restrictions have eased by then and it can be done in-person so end-of-season awards can also be given out.
Player of the Year in each grade and other awards are expected to be announced next week.
