As per the figures released by Western NSW Local Health earlier in the week, 84.2 per cent of Dubbo residents had received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine while almost 40 per cent were fully vaccinated.
Dr Kate Green from the Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group said their clinic has been busy for months vaccinating eligible people from around town.
"The GP respiratory clinic got up and running with vaccines since May," she said.
"Really since then there has been vaccines given every single day through our service."
"So when I worked out the eligible population which worked out to be about 28,000 people who've had a first dose.
"Of that we've done just shy of 10,000 people."

Dr Green and the other staff at the facility mostly have been working seven days a week vaccinating members of the public while still providing their regular services.
"That's a huge effort," she said.
"General practice, we don't like toot our own horn we just work away.
"A lot of focus has been put on NSW Health, the mass vaccine hubs and the ADF coming in to save the day.
"But I think a lot of the work has been done in primary care."
As NSW and Dubbo's vaccination rates continue to climb towards the 70 per cent mark, Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group has offered people from outside the postcode vaccines as well.
"Whilst still offering general practice, we have managed to vaccinate, just for the 2830 postcode, just under 10,000," she said.
"That doesn't include 2,000 people from other postcodes."
Dubbo has been in lockdown since mid-way through August but the staff at the organisations Bultje Street and Delroy Park facilities have been working tirelessly to help keep people safe.
"Since we had the outbreak in Dubbo we have been vaccinating seven days a week," Dr Green said.
"Lots of the staff haven't had a day off since the outbreak came to Dubbo.
"It is exhausting work.
"I'm very proud of them and the work they have done."
The Western NSW Local Health District on track to reach 70 per cent full vaccination in mid-October. Once NSW reaches the 70 per cent mark, there would be an easing of restrictions across the state, as per the NSW Government's roadmap.
Dr Green also wished to thank the staff at both locations for their tireless work over the last several months in vaccinating and tendering to the needs of their patients during this difficult time.
