In recent times, a majority of players from Narromine have opted to play in Dubbo with the Newtown Tigers but this season they will field their own sides in the RSL Pinnington Cup as well the RSL Kelly Cup competitions.
Doug Potter will captain the second grade side this season and is looking forward to watching the club welcome new and returning players.
"It's sort of something we've had in the pipeline for the last couple of years and never really thought it would go anywhere," he said.
"But we've had a lot of interest from a few local who sort of said if we do go back on our own they would come back.
"They weren't really sold on the idea of playing for a Dubbo club which is understandable as travelling to Dubbo every week can get a bit full on."

"The idea of having games out here every second week or once a month was appealing to a lot of locals,"
"We were sort of thinking that if we got a team we could fill two spots in 2nds and 3rds."
Narromine will also field two juniors teams in the Dubbo competition this year with an under 12s and 14s sides both set to play.
Potter knows there is a good group of junior cricketers coming through in Narromine.
"That was sort of another reason behind it," he said.
"We know we have a good group of juniors coming through and we wanted them to be able to filter into senior cricket without having to travel to Dubbo.
"But anyone who is looking for a relaxed game can come play.
"We are always looking for new players."
The bulk of the Narromine second grade side will be composed of the players who have dominated Brewery Shield.
The DDCA season has no start date yet as community sport has been halted until NSW reaches 80 per cent of full vaccination.
