A 54-year-old man is in a stale condition after a ute crashed into a motel in Dubbo on the weekend.

About 12.30pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to Cobra Street after a silver Ford Ranger mounted a footpath and crashed though a room at the Aberdeen motel, before stopping in the front yard of an adjoining residential home.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said the 54-year-old man is believed to have suffered from a medical episode while driving the vehicle.
He was taken to Dubbo Hospital in a critical condition, before he was later transferred to Orange Hospital where he is now in a stable condition.
A 19-year-old female passenger also suffered minor injuries.
The NSW Ambulance spokesperson said two children were also transported to hospital for observation after being assessed at the scene.
However were unable to say if the children were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, or had witnessed the incident.
Police attended the scene and an investigation is under way.

Three people have been taken to Dubbo Hospital after a car crashed into a motel on Cobra Street on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 12.30pm, following reports of the incident.
Two children were also transported to hospital for observation after being assessed at the scene.
The spokesperson was unable to say if the children were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, or had witnessed the incident.
Police, firefighters and VRA personnel were also called to the scene.
