Racing NSW drew the 14 winning tickets for a spot in the $1.3 million country feature on Thursday and a Dubbo TAB account holder was among them.
The identity of the ticket-holder is not yet confirmed, with Racing NSW contacting each of the winners on Thursday morning.
It comes as a huge boost to the hopes of seeing a horse from the state's west in the 1200m race.
