Prominent Dubbo trainer Kody Nestor is hopeful at least one horse from his stable will run in this year's $1.3 million Kosciuszko.

Cardiff and Jailbreak are both genuine chances for Nestor in the 1200 metre sprint which is the world's richest race for for country-trained horses.
Nestor has plans for both horses but Cardiff looms as the trainer's best opportunity to take out the event on October 16.
"If he get's his chance he'll run really well," Nestor told Sky Thoroughbred Central prior to Cardiff running second in a Wellington trial on Wednesday.
"He will go to Canterbury in a fortnight's time. There is a Benchmark 78 1100 [metre] for him.
"He's run at the track before so it's an exciting time."

The 14 Kosciuszko sweepstakes winners were announced on Thursday, with Dubbo having a ticket winner.
Nestor hadn't had a call in regards to the rich race on Thursday afternoon but it's full steam ahead.
Jailbreak, his other Kosciuszko hope, will contest Sunday's Flying Handicap, with Anthony Cavallo in the saddle.
"He'll go around on Sunday in the big sprint race at Dubbo," Nestor said.
"He had a good jump out yesterday morning and he's got reasonably good form for a race like that as well.
"I expect him to be hard to beat there on Sunday.
"If he gets his opportunity, he's got a great 1200 metre record.
"He has as been competitive in the Wagga Town Plate and those sorts of races.
"He wouldn't be the worst runner for sure."
Final fields for the $50,000 Flying Handicap were announced on Thursday.
Brett Cavanough has Dubai Tycoon with Alysha Collett to ride the Scone chance.
Local hopefuls Brett Robb and Dar Lunn have Classy Rebel and Messy Miss respectively and both head into the meeting with a win in their last start.
Gilgandra trainer Leo Harland also has Patrick May, who ran second in the Collie Cup last start, in the race.
Scott Singleton's Partners ($2.70) is the favourite heading into the second biggest race of Sunday's meeting.
Nestor's Jailbreak ($4.40) and Cavanough's Dubai Tycoon ($6) sit not too far behind in the early odds.
Jailbreak is coming into the race with strong form like Nestor mentioned placing five times from his last six starts.
Gilgandra's Bryan Dixon has three chances in the race on Sunday.
Boom Queen ($101), Fox Spirit ($101) and Makuba ($51) will all represent Dixon's stable on Sunday.
No rain is expected for Dubbo before Sunday with the track likely to be terrific conditions for the meeting.
The winner of the Flying Handicap will take home $22,000 and will lead into the $100,000 Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota Gold Cup which will be the ninth race of the day.
The first race of the day is set to jump at 11:45am with no spectators allowed to attend due to current COVID-19 restrictions.
