Dubbo MP Dugald Saunders said during a health meeting earlier this week that he had received a few queries about the rules regarding visiting cemeteries.

"I just want to clarify that you can visit a cemetery or a grave site with members of your immediate family, as in your household," he said.

"So only those that live with you can go with you or one other person if you don't have members of a household with you. It's fairly clear, your household or one other person can go."

He added that people would need to wear a facemask.

"So no large gatherings," he added.

"We understand that people will want to go to gravesites and cemeteries but you need to do it sensibly with your household group and a mask on.

"We know is is an important time."

The rules apply throughout Western NSW.
