These numbers include 32 in Dubbo, five in Wellington, five in Bathurst, eight in Bourke and one in Narromine, Brewarrina, Mudgee and Parkes.
In the Far West Local Health District four cases were recorded, all in Wilcannia.
One of the cases in Bathurst is linked to the Bathurst Correctional Centre, which brings the total number of cases there to seven - all of which are staff members.
In response to both the Bathurst Correctional Centre outbreak and that at Parklea Correctional Centre, NSW Health is working with corrections services in testing patients and staff, identifying and isolating contacts and providing immunisation to staff and inmates.
Across the state three more people have died from COVID-19 in NSW as the state recorded another 1164 new cases overnight.
The death of the three people - a woman in her 50s, a man in his 80s and a second man in his 90s - took the outbreak's total death toll to 96.
Authorities said 143 people are intensive care, 53 of them on ventilators and more than 800 in hospital.
Four new cases were acquired overseas in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. The total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic is 26,820.

More than 130,000 tests were conducted in the 24-hour period.
With two-thirds of the state's population having received a first dose of vaccination, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian urged those yet to get the jab to make it their goal for September.
"Once we know that you've signed up to your first dose we know that you'll be getting your second dose," Ms Berejiklian said.
Yesterday, NSW recorded 1290 locally-acquired COVID-19 cases and four deaths in the 24-hour reporting period.
