Businesses and service clubs are among those who've so far treated go-go-go testing clinic and vaccination hub crews to pizzas.
Devil's Hollow Brewery shouted a lunch last week for the flat-out workers testing thousands of people at the Dubbo Showground, and an idea was born.
The hospitality venue, like so many forced to switch to takeaway only as the city went into lockdown on August 11, invited the community to get on board.
It posted to social media that anyone who wished to show their appreciation to COVID testing and vaccination clinic workers could shout through it, and it would make and deliver the orders.
Brewery customer experience manager Ceridwyn Usback said the response was that it was a great idea, and a way to share the city's gratitude to all those working tirelessly both front and behind the scenes.
"Lockdown is really hard, as most of us have to stay at home and isolate, there are members in our community putting their own safety on the line to help get us through this pandemic - they are working their butts off," she said.
"That's the beauty about living in a regional community - we all pull together to help each other."
It also spread a bit of positivity and was something nice for the brewery team to be working on, she said.
So far The Rotary Club of Dubbo South, Blueridge Business Park, Hazmat Plus and an anonymous patron have shouted testing and vaccination clinic workers.
Veldt Restaurant Dubbo was behind a delivery to Dubbo Police Station in recognition of its officers' hard work.
Bluegum Dubbo Motel ensured the paramedics at the ambulance station received delicious sustenance to help them through their shifts.
