A 34-year-old truck driver is in hospital being treated for injuries after an early morning crash north of Dubbo.

About 3.40am on Tuesday morning emergency services were called to the Newell Highway near Brocklehurst, about seven kilometres north of Dubbo after reports of a heavy vehicle collision.
On arrival emergency serves, including NSW police, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) and NSW Ambulance paramedics found a B-double on fire and blocking both lanes of the highway.
FRNSW crews extinguished the blaze, and the male driver was taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment.
Police and other emergency services cleared the scene to enable traffic flow.
Investigations into the cause of the crash continue, and anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
EARLIER:
The Newell Highway has been closed between Brocklehurst and Eumungerie, north of Dubbo, after a B-double crash.
The highway is closed in both directions between Burraway Street and Cobboco Road with diversions currently in place.
Motorists in light vehicles are advised to allow around five minutes extra travel time. Those in heavy vehicles should allow around 45 minutes extra travel time.
It's believed emergency services were called to the incident about 4am on Tuesday morning.
Diversions
For light vehicles only:
- Northbound: Burraway St, Ulomogo St, Mogriguy Rd,Wheaton St, Cobboco Rd.
- Southbound: Cobboco Rd, Wheaton St, Mogriguy Rd, Ulomogo St, Burraway St.
Heavy vehicles:
- Northbound: Burraway St, Ulomogo St, Mogriguy Rd, Mendooran Rd, Forest Rd, Castlereagh Hwy to Gilgandra.
- Southbound: Castlereagh Hwy from Gilgandra, Forest Rd, Mendooran Rd, Mogriguy Rd, Ulomogo St, Burraway St.
