State Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders considers they have made a wise decision.
"We are seeing several school closures across the Dubbo city area and yesterday there was 95 per cent of students at home," he said on Friday morning.

"I think that will get closer to 100 per cent probably today and maybe early next week."
Mr Saunders said children were at risk.
"We have seen transmission from schoolchildren to other schoolchildren, so really there is a risk there," he said.
Mr Saunders said parents who could not work from home and had to send their children to school could expect they would receive "safe care" at their schools.
