An information stall will operate at Orana Mall Shopping Centre from 10am to 2pm today.
Supporting Local Communities is the theme of the week that runs until Saturday, November 10.
NSW Fair Trading Minister Anthony Roberts said the annual event showcased how it "connects, protects and empowers the people of NSW".
"Fair Trading is proud to be out there in communities across the state delivering our services," he said.
"We don't wait for consumers to come to us.
"I want consumers and traders to know their rights and to be aware of the support Fair Trading provides."
Dubbo is hosting one of more than 50 events being held across the state as part of Fair Trading Week, an annual event launched in the late 1990s.
