An enormous task faces a group of volunteers after an act of "senseless" vandalism on Thursday night.

A police investigation is currently under way after the Dubbo Junior Rugby Club shed was broken into on.
According to police about 10.30pm on Thursday, it's alleged a person or people have forced entry into the Dubbo Junior Rugby sporting shed at Victoria Park.
At this stage it's unclear what has been taken, however a number of sporting items were discovered scattered through the skate park.
President of Dubbo Junior Rugby Club Jason Blake said it was "disappointing" especially for the volunteers who were now tasked with the clean up.

"It's hard for anyone it doesn't matter what organisation you are, its counting the cost at the end of the day" he said.
"We basically need to take everything out, because [the mess] is just three foot high and pulled off shelves and up ended, you just don't know what's taken in that room at the moment."
Mr Blake said it looked like the vandals used an object to damage the locks and padlocks, and eventually gained access through one of the roller doors by forcing it open.
He said the club's volunteers had been hard at work to ensure the junior Friday night games could go ahead.
"It is hard on our members, considering that we have junior Wallas that play on Friday nights," he said.
"We've got 16 teams that play for the club across three age groups, and we had to get one area cleaned up ... otherwise that might have been hard for them to play tonight."
Mr Blake thanked the council for their swift response at securing the venue.
"Full credit to the council, we spoke to them early Friday morning, they got onto their people and helped make it secure, they've been really good," he said.
Investigations are under way and police are reviewing CCTV footage.
Orana Mid-Western Police District officer in charge, Inspector Natalie Antaw said acts like this were "senseless".
"It's disappointing to see anybody's business, house or sporting club broken into," she said.
