Western NSW Local Health District Chief Executive Scott McLachlan said that case, identified as being in the Cabonne Local Government Area and in isolation since July 18, is being "actively managed".
"We're providing medical and clinical support to support them through their COVID journey," Mr McLachlan said.
The positive case out of that exposure at the Blayney plant remains the region's only case of community transmission following the Delta outbreak in Sydney.
We can confirm there's no new cases in Molong.
- Western NSW LHD Chief Executive Scott McLachlan
Although Western NSW LHD officials remain cautious.
Mr McLachlan said there's still a very real chance cases of COVID-19 remain undetected across the three LGAs - Orange, Blayney and Cabonne - that were thrown into lockdown last week.
He said the detection of COVID-19 fragments in Molong's sewage system on Monday only served as a reminder that, while there's currently no new cases, the Delta threat looms large.
"We can confirm there's no new cases in Molong or the rest of Western NSW," he said.
"The sewerage testing (results from Molong), we'd expect them back in next 24-48 hours, we've asked that's a high priority. That testing is done in a lab in Sydney."
He said anyone in Molong who is yet to be tested should do so. The drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic at the Molong train station is operational.
"This is our chance to get in front of COVID if it is in the community," he added.
Mr McLachlan reassured the region that the redirection of Pfizer doses from regional NSW to Sydney would have a minimal impact on the vaccine rollout in the Western LHD.
He said about 5000 Pfizer doses were being delivered to the region each week.
