We've talked to so many people that are eligible, but just can't get in.
Medical centre's are posting appointment times that are snapped up in minutes and the wait, if you do get one, can still be weeks away.
But we're all in this together, and abuse against those healthcare workers providing vaccines won't be tolerated.
We were shocked to hear this was happening at a number of clinics across Western NSW.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
No one should be going to work, doing their job, and coping that kind of abuse from anyone - in any situations - little alone those who are working so hard when the health of our nation is such a priority at the moment.
However, that's what is happening.
Western NSW Local Health Disctrict Chief Executive Scott McLachlan told media on Thursday additional security had been brought in to man the Dubbo vaccination clinic, because staff have been subject to abuse and "unsavory behavior".
"As a community, we really need to take stock of how we're treating each other."
Mr McLachlan said staff dealing with this kind of behaviour were "heroes in every sense," and praised the way they were handling the situations they were put into by the public.
"The behavior, I've got to say, has been really distressing, the language that's being used. I understand this is a stressful time, for everyone - it absolutely is, and the last thing we want is for people to feel as though they're not supported," he said.
We need to remember - we're all in this together. And while mass vaccinations are the way forward, abuse of staff isn't part of that.
Staff in any workplace have the right to feel safe when they go to their job at the start of their shift.
We're in this together, and if we don't work together, it's going to take a lot longer to get to the end.
