
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and his vehicle was stolen in Narromine.
About 5.30am on Sunday, a 63-year-old man was asleep in his vehicle at the corner of Meryula and Terangion streets in Narromine, when he was approached by two unknown men.

It is alleged the men pulled the 63-year-old from the vehicle and assaulted him, before stealing his wallet and driving away.

The red Holden commodore utility bearing NSW registration CZ28HU was last seen travelling west along Terangion Street.
Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to Narromine Hospital for treatment.
He was later taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment to a suspected broken jaw.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and conducted a canvass of the area.
Investigations continue.
