After showers were scattered around the region over the weekend, with a total of 9mm, rainfall for this month has now exceeded 88mm.
Putting this in perspective, Dubbo's long term average for July is only 42.8mm.
Weatherzone states Dubbo has now surpassed 560.8mm of rain this year so far, which is well above the average to date, with more rain is expected this week.

There is a chance of showers on Wednesday this week as well as Sunday before a rare stretch of back to back warm days.
Wednesday has an 80 per cent chance of between 1-5mm before an estimated similar amount on Sunday but just a 60 per cent chance.
Temperatures this week will sit in the high teens before reaching 21 and 23 degrees on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The weekend warmth will be well above the monthly average of 15 degrees and, if it happens as predicted, it will over take July 15 as the hottest day of the month which was 19.8.
Last week, Dubbo experienced a -4 degree morning on Thursday with frost and ice witnessed around the region.
Friday will be the perfect morning to stay inside with a lowest temperature of -1 set to be the coldest expected temperature of the week.
July in total has been warmer than average in both minimum and maximum temperatures being exceeded.
