The scoreline may read 54-10 in favour of Dubbo CYMS but it was far from their best performance against Narromine on Sunday at Apex Oval.

Equal ladder leaders CYMS came into the game on a high after a strong win over Forbes last weekend but struggled to complete sets against Narromine.
CYMS' coach Shaun Townsend knows his side have room for more improvement with just three rounds until finals.
"Still plenty of things to work," he said.
"Just being patient and being more ruthless.
"We were really impatient today and tried to score easy.
"I thought we tried to play a bit of bruise-free footy and it looked like we wanted to get through the game without getting into it at the start.

"It was a bit frustrating to watch and they know what to do.
"There was no panicking at half-time but we got into bad habits and couldn't get out of it in the end."
A positive for CYMS was the play of three of the club's young stars in Zac Williams, Riley Wake and Fletcher Haycock who all looked at home in the top grade.
"We had three under 18s play first grade today and I thought they were three of our best players, Townsend said.
"We had young Riley [Wake], Zac [Williams] and Fletcher [Haycock] and Jayden Merritt came off the bench and he was one of our best."
Townsend knows the club is in a good spot when three of the clubs youngest perform in first grade but the CYMS mentor knows more young guns could easily feature in his side.
"I can bring in another four or five," he said.
"Young Braye Porter is in a moon boot I could put him in first grade every week.
"There are four or five blokes in reserve grade that could play first grade.
"We've got the depth and it is exciting for the club that we have kids who are good footballers."
Narromine co-captain/coach Chad Jacobson could not fault his side's effort after the match.
"Like I said before we are just down on numbers," he said.
"We just keep getting those unfortunate injuries but the boys keep turning up.
"The attitude and effort is there so you can't fault that.
"We stuck it to them for a little bit but they are a real good side as well.
Narromine spent a lot of time inside CYMS' half but never really looked like breaking the defence open, which is something Jacobson feels they lack.
"We just lack that polish due to the injuries," he said.
"We guys playing out of position, like you've got backrowers playing out wide and things like that.
"If we can keep blokes on the paddock we could do a bit more."
CYMS fullback Ali Beale opened the scoring for the home side early in the match with Brad Pickering adding the extras before Jyie Chapman pounced on a loose ball to run 80 metres to give the side a 10-0 lead.
Billy Sing and Jayden Merritt both scored tries of their own but Pickering only managed to convert one as CYMS lead 20-0 at halftime.
Wake scored just a minute into the second half and it looked like CYMS were going to run away with the match as Beale grabbed his second to move the score along to 30-0.
Wake went over for his second try of the afternoon before Jeremy Thurston got in on the action with Pickering converting both as the hosts led 42-0.
Narromine hit back late with a try to Linton Shaw before CYMS scored two thanks to Brydon Ramien and James Stanley.
Ratu Roko finished his strong day out for Narromine with a try in the corner which Jans Waford converted to move the score to 54-10 as full-time blew.
DUBBO CYMS 54 (Ali Beale 2, Riley Wake 2, Jyie Chapman, Jeremy Thurston, Billy Sing, James Stanley, Jayden Merritt, Brydon Ramien tries; Brad Pickering 7 goals) defeated NARROMINE JETS 10 (Linton Shaw, Ratu Roko tries; Jans Walford goal).
