As a newsroom we have heard from many of the candidates already, and our council reporter Orlander Ruming has been interviewing each one to provide you with an overall candidate profile on each potential councillor.
She's put together a page to help you clearly see who is running in your ward, and what they are standing for - and I encourage you to check back regularly as it's updated, especially in the next two weeks when those running officially register.
We will be giving each candidate the opportunity for a profile in print and online, giving them all the same opportunity to have their say on why they are running, and what they are running for.
If you've heard of someone running that we haven't yet spoken too get in touch with Orlander and let her know via orlander.ruming@dailyliberal.com.au.
I'm also keen to hear what you would like to see from the Daily Liberal in the lead up to the elections. What questions would you like us to put to the candidates? What do you want to know about the local government elections?
Let me know what you would like to know, just hit reply to this email.
And as always, have a great Sunday.
