Alongside her, husband John Croft and daughter Molly Croft will also play roles on the committee.
Mrs Croft said the role comes as something like a dream for her.
"It's been a bit of a dream of mine to have something in the area that all families with children with life threatening illnesses can access," she said.
"For me, it's a personal thing about giving back and helping other families to feel wrapped in love the way we have.
"We were just very lucky and blessed to be able to have the support to be by Molly's side to help her fight, so now we're back we just wanted to be able to go, how can we help other families who are going through something similar have that support?
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"That was the main reason I went looking for what services were around and to see what ones were needed to fill the gaps.
"I reached out to Country Hope and started chatting to them and I was like 'you're something I want for Dubbo'.
"Country Hope hasn't ever serviced our region before, they were set up in Wagga, the closest to Dubbo they've ever helped a family until recent times was Forbes. Now we have the branch here in Dubbo we will service any family that falls in our area. We can help in any way that family needs us to."
Mrs Croft said her goal now as director was to connect with the families in our region who needed help.
"As a community if we know that it's here then families who fall into tough times will know that this is where to come first, their not waiting for someone to make a GoFundMe page, we are one of the first phone calls they make," she said.
Mrs Croft said Country Hope was an amazing organisation that had already proven itself in the Riverina area, and encourages anyone wanting to help to get in touch.
"I have a committee of about ten amazing people and the men from South Dubbo Rotary have offered to help, so now we're just looking for families," she said.
