Stevie grew up in Cobar and attended Cobar High School before relocating to Dubbo with her family in 2007 when she was 16-years-old.
Stevie then began her career in Dubbo in the hairdressing industry as an apprentice for a local salon before moving to Queensland in 2017, leaving behind her family and friends who are still in Dubbo.
Now, friends, colleagues and family members in Dubbo, including her mum, dad, nan and pop, will be able to watch her on the big screen as she appears on national television, fighting to garner the heart of season nine bachelor Jimmy Nicholson.
The Bachelor Australia is a reality television dating game show series that sees contestants compete to win over the heart of the bachelor.
But while Stevie may be living up life in the big smokes, she's still a country girl at heart with a love of animals and a 'vibrant, happy, outgoing and positive attitude'- traits which she also hopes to find in Nicholson.
"[My ideal man] loves animals and his attitude has to be positive, looks-wise; I love glasses but I'm open to anything. I am not judgemental," Stevie said
Stevie compares her previous love life to that of Blair from the popular television series Gossip Girl and hopes to use her tv experience to hopefully find true love.
"If I could compare myself to someone from a romcom, it would be Blair from Gossip Girl because she has high standards and loves deeply," she said.
The now 30-year-old hairstylist, who was 29 while filming the show, is a force to be reckoned with as far as her family is concerned, they have described her as determined and ambitious.
Stevie's nan even went as far as to call her a 'vibrant sexy chicken and an amazing cook' deeming her a strong competitor.
Stevie managed to get a rose, but will she be able to win Nicholson's heart?
The first episode of season nine of The Bachelor Australia premiere on Wednesday, July 21 at 7.30 pm.
Episodes will run twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30 pm on Network 10.
