Diesel will showcase a unique blending of rock, soul, RnB and blues, a blend that mixes seamlessly with his latest album's, Alone with Blues, tracks that he'll be previewing for the very first time on the night.
The album is a collection of blues classics and rarities with Diesel playing every instrument on his first completely solo album.
The first single, 'Six Steel Strings', co-written with Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock), is out now.
Alone With Blues showcases Diesel's love for blues music which he deems is in his DNA on a macro level.
Diesel pays tribute to giants like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Sam Cooke, Leadbelly, and Magic Sam.
Diesel has also recently released Alone With Blues singe 'Lost and Lookin'.
Lost And Lookin was originally performed and made famous by Sam Cooke.
"I think, Sam Cooke is arguably the finest male RnB vocalist, I just think he's so much refined but still has this incredible edge," Diesel said.
Cooke first released Lost and Looking on his album Night Beat,
"Night Beat is one of those records you put on at 9pm after you've had everyone ever, it's one of those albums that you put on and it just suits going on into those wee hours of the morning," Diesel said.
"It's a blues album," he shrugs.
"I had never actually heard it until a friend laid it on me and said; aw, that's the one. It had songs on it that I obviously knew, but I had never heard the Lost and Lookin track before and it just mesmerised me."
Diesel will perform at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre on Saturday, August 7 from 8pm to 10:30pm.
