The Penrith co-captain suffered the pain of defeat last year as the much-maligned Queensland Maroons reclaimed Origin bragging rights but the Blues head into Wednesday night's match at the Gold Coast with a 2-0 lead in the 2021 series after dominant wins at Townsville and Brisbane.
A number of Yeo's teammates have been in this position before.
It was 2018 when the Blues won the first two matches before Queensland scored a morale-boosting win in the final match, leaving the NSW celebrations a little hollow.
"It will be tough and to get that 3-0 win would be special," NSW chief advisor Greg Alexander said to NSW Rugby League.

"We don't want to walk off the field on Wednesday night having lost the game because it does put a sour taste in your mouth even if you've won the series.
"We did that in 2018, won the first two and then lost the third one and it leaves you a bit flat.
"I know the boys don't want to have that feeling and want to finish the series off strongly."
Yeo will again start at lock on Wednesday night in what is a much-changed Blues side.
Kick-off is 8.10pm.
